Introduction

Julian Franco (hereinafter the “Owner”) is committed to protecting your privacy and to complying with Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia’s personal data protection law) and its implementing decrees on personal data protection.

This Policy describes how information is collected, used and processed when you use the website juli.com.co (hereinafter the “Site”).

Information we collect

1. Voluntary contact data

When you book a call or reach out through the available channels (Google Calendar appointment scheduling or email), the data you provide yourself is collected:

Name
Phone number (optional)
Email address
Website, if you have one (optional)
Message or inquiry

The Site has no data capture forms of its own that store data on its own server. Appointment scheduling is handled through Google Calendar (a Google service), and direct contact through email; these platforms have their own independent privacy policies.

2. Browsing data

Usage data is collected automatically through Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager:

IP address (anonymized)
Browser and device type
Operating system
Pages visited and time spent on them
Traffic source

This data is processed by Google under its own privacy policies. The Owner only accesses aggregated, anonymized reports.

3. Local preferences

The Site stores the visual theme preference (light/dark mode) selected by the user in the browser’s local storage (localStorage). This data is not sent to any server and remains only on the user’s device.

Use of information

Contact data is used exclusively to:

Respond to inquiries and requests
Manage the professional relationship and contracted services
Send quotes and service-related communications
Comply with legal and tax obligations

Personal data is not used to send unsolicited commercial communications, nor is it shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data is based on:

The consent of the data subject, given when voluntarily initiating contact.
The performance of the contractual relationship, when a service has been contracted.
Compliance with applicable legal obligations.

Storage and security

Contact data is managed through the platforms used for communication (Google Calendar and email), whose security depends on the respective providers. The Owner applies reasonable care in handling this information but does not operate servers of its own and cannot guarantee the security of third-party platforms.

The Site is hosted on GitHub Pages, a third-party platform over whose server infrastructure the Owner has no control.

Retention period

Contact data and communications: while an active professional relationship exists and up to 3 years from the last contact.
Billing data: 5 years, in accordance with Colombian legal requirements.
Web analytics data: according to the Google Analytics configuration (maximum 2 years).

International transfers

The use of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Calendar and Gmail involves transfers of data to servers located outside Colombia. These transfers are carried out under each provider’s privacy terms.

Rights of the data subject

Under Ley 1581 de 2012, you have the right to:

Know the personal data processed about you.
Update and correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request proof of the consent you gave.
Revoke consent and request deletion of your data, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.
File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC), Colombia’s data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

The Owner reserves the right to update this policy. Changes will be published on this same page with their update date. Continued use of the Site after publication implies acceptance of the changes.
